Just returned from the 6th Japanese-American-German Kavli Frontiers of Science Symposium in Irvine. 3 full days spent with many scientists from different disciplines.
What an awesome experience!

This study presents a new framework for understanding biofilm development at deep-sea vents, highlighting a shift from niche-specific pioneer communities in early-stage biofilms to more diverse, mature communities.
