You don't kill healthy chicken sir. You breed them, it's called building herd (flock) immunity. Wouldn't have been an issue if they just removed the sick birds. The stupidity to mass kill unnecessarily is terrifying, indeed.

well, when you cull 166+ million chickens, it's tough to produce eggs....you know that when them suffocate with foam it shuts down the facility for over 3 months before it can even be used? takes time to grow more chickens. nothing he could have done about that.
