I am nothing if not a creature of habit. I ALWAYS put up my holiday tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving and take it down on January 6th. This year on January 6, I carefully removed all the ornaments, packed them up, gazed at my denuded tree, and said, "Not today." Thus was born the Valentines Tree.
