I'm watching NFL Live now and was about to type that you all look very cold. But now Ryan has joined you at the desk and he is hatless and looking unbothered.

I am so disappointed. Our democracy is in crisis and we need strong leadership to fight against this. You gave up.

Please delete this for the sake of my lovely former coworker Denise. Nearly 30 years ago she told me she was shocked, hurt and disappointed by her fellow American classmates and co-workers who assumed she had grown up in a shack since she was from Jamaica.

When NY1 was showing footage of her this morning, she was speaking behind a podium with Trump printed large on it. I was wondering if she will distance herself.

So Tr*mp was half right with his crazy percents, just in the wrong direction. I am so sorry and thanks for sharing.

I stayed up late to do that math. Wanted Cuomo to know he would have lost no matter what.

Two things as a mom of kids the same age as Ella: this type of popular culture perspective differences happens in our home all the time (we just laugh, I feel a bit old) and I am extremely proud of Ella for getting out there and doing the work! Ellla has a bright future!

That green signifies a bike lane. He is such a jerk.

Yesterday I volunteered at the NYC marathon (so fun-highly recommend!) & then grabbed late lunch at our local bar where every finisher who walked in was greeted with cheers; it was the best of NYC. So to turn on the tv later and see the awful Cuomo & Sliwa ads (Sliwa’s ad warns of rapes) is jarring.

I had never seen Godot, just had a basic idea of what it is all about. Loved this production! Hope you have the best time in NYC!

I received this text today from them. Told them I voted for a candidate that actually lives in the city and they need to stop fear mongering

Glad NYC is trying out pedestrian crossing on 1st Ave. I’ve seen it work at other marathons. Last year I volunteered at a water stop in the 70s and spent too much time telling people they couldn’t cross there. Also unfortunately watched some people dangerously push through the runners to cross.

I thought this was common?!? I have lots of family I call aunt/uncle mostly because they are older than me. If we looked at a proper family tree that wouldn’t be their correct title. OTOH I have an uncle only five years older than me who I have never called uncle.

This! He “moved” just down the way from me, almost next door to my good friend. We have never seen him once!

During the pandemic every NYC public school kids’ family received a EBT card to replace the schools’ free breakfast and lunch program. When I used it at our grocery store the manager was so mean. If there was ever a time for compassion!

So Cuomo is happily accepting the endorsement of a crooked politician?!?

And close to some amazing pizza at Hudson & Packard, my fav French restaurant Brasserie 292 and a great brewery Kings Court.

So we are going to address racism? I know some people afraid of the subway because people that look like them have been victims of hate crimes. I also know some white people VERY uncomfortable sharing close spaces with non-white people.

The NFP I work for applied for a grant from her foundation. The process was surprisingly simple. While we didn’t get the grant, we did get $500 in recognition for time it took to put together our ask. It is refreshing to have a funder recognize the work behind the scenes securing funding.

I’ve flown a few times recently. Every time I’ve been in the security line at least one person has made a comment about her pre-shutdown video (“this idiot”, “so embarrassing”). I don’t know what she is saying since I prefer not to look at her and often there isn’t any sound, just closed caption.

As a NYCer I am trying to figure out what Cuomo is talking about. I think he may be referring to Express buses which are $7. These are long trip buses, better seating mostly used by work commuters.
