I think a coverlet for your bed by crocheting the squares together then adding a border would be lovely. A garment of some sort as well. The crocheted squares are well done. So glad that you rescued them!

We were in Conrad from 1976-1978. We had lived in Helena for 9 months before moving further north to Conrad. I liked Great Falls and have fond memories. There was always a strong fiber community of knitting, weaving, and quilting. Great healthcare professionals as well!

I agree, Missoula’s the best! After graduating from college my husband and I were teaching in Brady but lived in Conrad. After 2 years we moved to Whitefish where we lived for a year then moved to southeast Alaska. Many Montanans live and work in Alaska!

The Confident Stitch is mainly a fabric store with gorgeous fabrics. Yarns are available but not sure how much they stock in the store. Missoula is my hometown! My daughter was born in Great Falls!

Visit the Farmer’s Daughter’s yarn shop in downtown Great Falls! Lovely yarn to knit with! Bozeman has a great yarn shop as well (Stix Yarn). Missoula has Joseph’s Coat and the Confident Stitch both in the downtown area.

I grew up in a red state with a strong hunting and gun mentality. My late father enjoyed hunting. His weapons were safely stored and the ammunition elsewhere. No one brought weapons to school ever. RFK Jr is insane and uninformed about many issues.
