Okay #knitsky I made a Norma-esque sweater for my mom using the Tolsta Tee pattern and CoBaSi by Hikoo. It was my first time making a whole garment in fingering and it wasn’t as bad as I thought (mostly because no sleeves) and I think she’s going to love it. But I do need some positive feed back.

Ends woven, blocked, buttons sewn! I think I can consider the Nordic Bloom Cardigan by Boyland Knits (Caitlin Hunter) done! A lot of new things with this, first time steeking (soooo scary) , using the Kitchener stitch (that was fun), first time doing top up (I really liked it) let me know you q’s?!?

I’m at dinner, the two dudes seated behind me are having a conversation about one of their recent breakups. The dude literally just said “she had a lot of behavioral issues” and “I’m not sure how she was socialized” is this the way people talk about each other? (Yes I’m eavesdropping, he’s yelling)

Finished Diaphanous Raglan! For my second sweater, I’m very proud! She fits, albeit not perfectly, but part of knitting is trial and error, yes? Please say yes! I loved knitting the sleeves, I felt like a small fairy knitting cobwebs with twigs which is a feeling I never want to go away.
