"It is an honour that I dream not of" (Romeo and Juliet). I usually say this when I am asked to do something that I don't want to do.

"There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so" (Hamlet). I used this in response to someone saying that something was bad. Lively grade 10 debate.

I'm going to have to agree with you on King Lear. Followed by Othello and Hamlet. I can't say as I'm a fan of Macbeth.

Isn't there stuff already on the internet? Didn't Putin run the photos one time on the nightly news when Trump threatened him?

They are certainly there to keep the "groundlings" happy, but I also think they are there to spur some action. In Hamlet, the ghost spurs him to seek revenge. In Macbeth, it spurs Macbeth's conscience to some kind of action. Sorry, I haven't read Macbeth in a long time.

Scottish kings were often elected. they didn't necessarily inherit by birthright. This breaking of the chain of being is more English than Scottish.

I think it has to be done in the dark because, to me anyway, the biggest crime is that he killed a guest - who happened to be a king.

In a practical sense, killing Duncan offstage would/could also have been done to not ruffle the feathers of Royalty watching the play.

reminds me of Hamlet's ghost. Do we choose to believe what we cannot or do not want to comprehend? It also leads the viewer to "plotting" - obviously they are up to something and will meet again. All the times mentioned for meeting would keep others away and are omens/ominous.

The dentist office website has been updated. Don't see that on their website unless it's somewhere else.

No moment of any play in particular. I always started Shakespeare by filing the board with old slang terms and asked them which ones they knew. Then I told them to get over the language. Always started Lear with "The girl who loved her father like salt" or similar: sites.pitt.edu/~dash/salt.h...

"It is an honour that I dream no of" from R and J. Usually when I'm asked to do something that I don't want to do. Many from Lear (They shall be the terrors of the earth, for example)
