Probably less than that after a termination for convenience settlement is negotiated. No funds were removed from the contract as far as I could tell.

That $38M is just one modification to add more work to that particular contract. That contract alone has a total value inclusive of all options of $4.4B. To include that $38M, that contract now has $2.8B in funds obligated.

Defense contractors (all federal government contractors for that matter) need to sue this mother effer into poverty having access to their payment info and possible proprietary cost and price data.
