After being fairly comfortable drawing Emberlynn, I wanted to draw one of my other favorites, and Motts said to draw Sallie since she's easier than Loona.
It was very weird to draw thin arms after drawing Emberlynn's sleeves so much.

As I recall, Motts gave me one of Emberlynn's merch designs to practice her demon form with (left), I then tried to apply it to a human Emberlynn pose.
I think they turned out alright.

Sallie is a fellow transwoman who has a loving family, and closeness with an older sibling, and also puts far more weight on her shoulders where others could take some of the weight from her. Still she's happy and comfortable in her body and her transition.

Loona feels more like a reflection of where I've been up to now. Loona is a scared, socially anxious girl who lashes out because she's been hurt before, and that leaves her feeling like it's her against the world.

When I say that I love Emberlynn, I mean I see her like my spirit animal
Like I feel like if I was able to start my transition as a teen, I'd probably be like Emberlynn in my 20s.
She's a little weirdo who's unabashedly herself, which I wish I was more like when I was younger.
