Tony called property manager. They agreed to shutdown tomorrow morning 8-10. But plumber was coming today first thing and we saw how that went and building email says 11-2 so we'll see.

BUT I got birthday cake and we ordered Olive Garden for dinner. Happy birthday to me 😅

Repair will require a water shutdown to change. They wanted to wait until super is back on the 26th. I said that's ridiculous. This was all over text because Tony the handyman handling things wasn't even in the building.

Got a lot of double talk. Like literally plumber and handyman were saying different things. I think partly because I'm a woman and they were both talking down to me to be honest. I’ve gotten used to it after getting it a lot from the superintendent.

Apparently there is a leak from a bonnet valve. He also thinks adjacent pipes should be changed. All do to age of pipes (my mom has been in this apartment for 50 years).

He called plumber this morning. Estimated arrival went from first thing in morning to 1pm-5pm. So I went out at 11 to do errands (returns, pharmacy, bank) and to get a birthday cake for myself. It was so cold I couldn’t feel my forehead even with a hat.

Plumber came at 1:30.

Literally everyone I talk to had such an eventful day.

If it’s screen time you should try to get off your phone at least two hours before bed. ADHD could also have you reacting more strongly to meds meant to help you relax?
