Lots of delays for flights from NYC to Miami this morning…(beyond normal Dec 26 issues).
Pilot (who has flown for 40yrs) said there is a huge spike in private planes flying from northeast to Florida and that is causing a big backup for commercial travel. Said this is highly unusual.

Not only that, the residents were originally forced there from their old village in 1949 by the BIA saying they needed a school. School wasn’t built until 1958. It’s gross what has been done to these poor people.
