Kira spent years trying to convince the cats to love her. Now we have kittens who adore her and she’s living her absolute best aussie life.

I love when cats are this small and can snuggle into the tiny pockets of your body. I keep waking up with tiny cats curled up against my neck or under my chin.

When I got home tonight from errands, it was so clear you could see by the starlight off the snow. It’s hard living off grid sometimes but nights like this make it absolutely worth it. Even if the low is -1F.

I’ll miss them too. I nursed this one back from the edge the first couple weeks when he had an awful eye infection. 😢

Called the Humane Society, and tomorrow we drop off half the kittens and Fizzgig to get spayed. I wish I could explain to Kira that half her little buddies will find happy homes.
