And yet in Melbourne - with similar size crowd where we were blocking a major city intersection for over an hour, then marching - it wasn't like that. I'm pretty sure a similar mix of people were protesting Herzog in both cities. Spot the difference then.

There is no nuance in the slaughter of more than 70000 people. None! The PM cannot expect a nuanced response from those who have lost entire families to this slaughter, nor those who expect our govt to respect all human rights. There is no nuance in Boyce’s statement. It’s utterly unforgivable.

Let’s invite a politician from a state committing a genocide to help promote social cohesion. Let’s limit the ability of the public to protest the visit so we can ensure ‘social cohesion’ is maintained. What the heck did the state and federal governments expect would happen?
