I’ve tried them. Half price, so couldn’t resist. You can replicate the experience by grating a bouillon cube on to your tongue. Should have realized they were half price for a reason.

I’ve got five of these in my succulent planter. None have bloomed but every day I check just in case. Boom is right! Can’t wait. So weird

Do you have squirrels? My hazelnuts were loaded last year and a month before I would have picked them, the squirrels took every single one. Occasionally dig one up in my garden. Net them? Maybe? They are beautiful trees!

I work at my public library in Canada. Recently I helped a newcomer to Canada get his first library card. He walked in and asked what this place was. When I explained the concept of a library he said, “all these books? I can just take one? you’ll trust me to bring it back?” #gifteconomy #publicgood

They knocked lots of grubs out of the tree and then was on the ground getting them. Then they flew over to a stump on the ground and found lots to eat there too.

Now I’m curious about the situation in Quebec. Much earlier European settlement in the south, so more complicated. Also includes the first modern treaty, James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement. Wasn’t really brought up in the referendums.
