Just finished reading @benjaminmyers76.bsky.social 's excellent 'Rare singles'. Enjoyed it very much particularly as it combined obscure Northern Soul tracks and the North East Coast. Highly recommend it.

Denise Mina is a terrific writer and 'The good liar' is a terrific book. I think her books are getting better and better. Can't wait to read the next one

Just finished Simon Mason's excellent book, 'The woman who laughed '. It's the third 'Finder' mystery that I've read and I hope Mason is planning to write a whole load more. Really enjoyable

Just finished @nedboulting.bsky.social 's very entertaining book 'The accidental tour-ist: (final) despatches from the road.' Full of his trademark self deprecating witty anecdotes. Highly recommend it.

Just read 'Run' by Blake Crouch. Really entertaining, fast paced thriller. Not read anything by Blake Crouch before but I'll be looking out for his books now.

Just finished @doctorhutch.bsky.social 's excellent new book 'Further'. Full of his trademark self deprecating humour as well as the science around long, long rides. Highly recommended
