Yeah, I know. I'm just very aware that my IRL contact is with people who generally agree with me on things like compassion and looking out for your neighbors. I try to stay aware of opinions and perspectives I don't agree with, need to stay humble.

God, I hope so. All I see on my socials are statements like "we've been waiting for ICE for years" and "text me I'll send you their addresses" and "just show them your visa, if you're here legally they will send you on your way."

Most of the Somalis in Maine have been here for decades, many are citizens or at least have different visas (work, study, etc). But the Angolan population is more recent
