With respect, I disagree. Yes, the shut down would have been painful for people but they would have recovered. But this CR will cause generational damage.

After today, I will not be sending one red cent to the Nat'l Democratic Party.
I have been ignoring stmts about there not being any difference between the Dems and the Reps. Today made it clear that they were correct. Neither of you care about preserving our Democracy.
