The rules never apply to themselves. If a family member or friend is on welfare, SNAP, gets an abortion, or commits a crime, there is always some kind of justification. Yet anyone else doing the same is judged negatively.

The GOP only seems to care about Veterans when they don't want to fund free healthcare, SNAP, or scapegoat immigrants. But, when it comes time to do anything to actually help veterans they just vote no.

I think it in hindsight, resigning was a big mistake. Democrats seem to play by one set of rules, and then Republicans won't have the same decency standards.
