been feeling pretty bad lately but this email I got from a colleague today made me feel a little more hope. maybe I am doing something right.
Hi Maggie, I just wanted to check in with you and ask if you're doing alright. With everything going on in the past few weeks, especially in LA, I wanted to make sure you're doing okay. Your WAML talks have helped me a lot in terms of taking some basic steps at the moment in the face of current politics (in addition to map cataloging projects!). I got some identity pins for my work lanyard and am working on getting things to decorate my cubicle that faces the student worker stations, that way they know there are allies in the office.
