Well, I never thought our legislative and executive branches could become such a shit show either but here we are. It was a slow and subterranean erosion until it wasn't.

Let's not travel into fairy land. They were not Camelot, in fact comparisons can be made. We need reality and ethics, not hyperbole and corruption.

Just remember that The people in your hinterlands don't feel the same way as the people in your cities. They are not happy about government interventions, they complain about immigration, and there are conspiracy theories afoot. Just like here (and possibly FROM here)

It boggles my mind to think that people like trump. But part of me wonders if he wasn't used to push an agenda this time around (project 2025) and that behind him is a dangerous and clever group of people bent on a return to a quasi lord/serf world.
