Now we decide who we want to be going forward, and how long we will collectively allow this ever escalating nightmare to last. I have hope we can prevent the worst, but we will need all of our resolve & engagement. We have no clue what will happen in 3 years. The upcoming mid terms are our critical.

It takes a long time to build bridges but you can blow them up instantly. 47, GOP and the chucklefucks who elected them have fucked the US for decades to come. There is no good reason any ally has reason to trust us. It’s not like we didn’t know who he is, but he was still elected.

We didn’t “need” it before 2003; we sure as shit don’t need it now. But with the right fascist government in power, a toothless Congress, and a complicit Supreme Court, any federal agency could be weaponized against the country’s residents.

I just had this conversation with my 21 year old daughter. I didn’t know myself until much later in life so that meant it was too easy to lose myself in marriage. I didn’t start to figure this out until a few years after my husband died.
