I'm actually half Lebanese (which believe it or not comes with a whole different set of prejudices) and while a small subset might want to exterminate a few folks who don't agree with Cheeto the Draft Dodger and his clan, that's not the majority.

I live in a city myself (Denver) but grew up in a pretty rural area. I agree that some people in rural areas complain but guess what, so do people in urban areas. Emphasizing differences vs emphasizing similarities has led to the issue we have in this nation - especially these days.
