I paid into social security for over 30 years till I gave up career to raise my disabled child who gets SSI and Medicaid which keeps him alive, he has many medical conditions. Take him and that away from me so the rich have more money and what the fuck 1/2

She deserves all the recognition. Few actors in Hollywood have been in so many extremely successful films and played as wide an array of characters as Zoe Saldaña has. She’s also perhaps the best navigator of acting in multiple film franchises of all time.

I work in IDD services and nearly all the people I work with and have worked with over the past decade rely on social security but also live in 24 HCBS housing. They have to pay room and board by SSA rule which right now is about $750 while the average SSI payment nationally is about $715.
