Tuckered out!
Black lab puppy with shiny sleek fur and a worn blue collar lies sound asleep on a blue throw blanket with just a bit of fleece visible on the underside of the blanket under the pup’s head. Pup’s four paws are pulled up together with one of them folded down towards his body. Laminate flooring can be seen under the pup and blue blanket in the top almost half of the frame and the edge of a brown, beige & blue Persian rug is visible at an angle across the bottom 1/3 of the frame. Pup’s mainly on blanket, but the ear closest to the floor rests on the rug. Pup is relaxed and appears (is) in deep sleep.

Tabby cat with white chin stretches her face towards the focused light and warmth of a light on a stove hood. She is in the right corner. Plain tiles of the backsplash are majority of frame. Cat is nose up and appreciative like the expression of a basking sunbather - or that may have been her expression just before I clicked this. (I’m trying to dissuade this with a scatmat. Husband, cook in family, is a pushover.

Labrador looking older, wiser, and more mature than his mere one year. Shiny black coat glistening in the sun, beautiful brown eyes fully attentive to the off-camera treat resting on the phone. New person said they are thinking about getting up to help another person with electronics.

Curled up black and beige tabby in beige sheets with blue geometric flower sheets fills the middle third of the frame. Camera is close to her head and only her dark pink nose tip, the slope up to her wide green eyes with narrowed pupil and clean erect ears. Her body is tucked in and relaxed, but her eyes are alert.

Tabby cat’s face fills the frame. Body is horizontal, head is lifted off soft surface to stare into camera lens. Expression is - I’m not sure - annoyance at being woken up or the look someone gives you when you’re ready to go but you’ve misplaced your keys for the fourth time in five minutes. May need help on this one.

I left my native garden behind when we moved here. No balcony, patio, or garden, but I’ve surprised myself with all of these lovely green and native plant patches throughout the city. I don’t know what this honeycomb structure is, but I look forward to finding out!
Three quarters of lower frame is of a field of native flowers and plants predominately green, yellow, and brown with a few trees. In the mid-distance is an open orange archway w/cut outs resembling a honeycomb. Chicago skyline and a cloudy sky in the far back upper quarter of the frame.

The first sign of Fall! His tail is wrapped tight like a scarf, so either the a/c is too cold or Fall is approaching. In this case, it’s Fall.
Frame is filled with the curled up body of a long-haired cat with orange ears to the space right above his annoyed half-opened yellow eyes, a white body except for two orange spots on his back and an all orange tail. Cat is not pleased with the interruption of his nap.

Seconds from a Saturday nap
Imagine a left lower corner to right upper corner diagonal across the frame. The lower part is gray fabric. The top diagonal is filled with the face of a sleepy tabby with barely open green eyes, a white triangle w/point between eyes and bottom below pink mouth. Cute nose is pink.

Met a new friend!
Looking down there’s a large blue circle rug with a white nautical compass printed on it. At the NE there’s a black Lab puppy lying down with head up and floppy ears perked looking across at a very relaxed kinda pudgy tabby cat with a white belly and alert ears looking back at him.
