Doctor Who, Tokusatsu, Assassin's Creed. My 3 big things.
The show is not completed. Filming is only 1 or 2 months ahead. Gozyuger has at least a month or 2 left before it wraps.

Remember when COVID shut down production they ran out of episodes 2 months later.

Looking at 60s Star Trek and 60s Doctor Who it is a night and day difference.

(Although a lot of American TV took ages to go widescreen. So the tables turned somewhat. Still, I'd love to be able to watch Marco Polo in HD colour. Or at all...)

2000 does actually get mentioned in Genesis.

But I think that one is ignored because it's directly contradicted by the story placing itself in the 2160s.

Doesn't Power's 2020 setting only come from the trailer, not from the actual story? So I reckon you can ignore that date.

Also, given The Moonbase is 2070, this must be the replacement moon from Kill The Moon (2049). They even state that the moonbase is about 20 years old.

That "F" should say "Game Freak".

But yeah, I enjoyed Operation Overdrive. It's no #Boukenger, but that shouldn't be held against it. Oh, and it has the pirate episode, which was great.

We'll see how I feel about Jungle Fury next.

Once a Ranger was decent too. You can tell Jackie Marchand was familiar with the characters, cause everyone is written spot-on, and I like the bit of Adam and Kira discussing Tommy.

Even if Alpha 6 is written like Alpha 5 for some reason! #PowerRangers

I enjoyed the Mack plotline, although I think it could have gone further if they'd not been stuck with the reduced count of 32 episodes. And it's foreshadowed well, it doesn't come out of nowhere. #PowerRangers #OperationOverdrive
