120 years ago there were few petrol stations, or garages, or mechanics, or repair shops (but lots of stables for horses). Things change pretty quick when the market has an incentive.

If this was 1900 these are the sort of people who'd say 'just stick with the horse already' and bemoaning a potential ban on oats

The whole point of a pension is to defer the tax until you retire, when your pension becomes your income.

You don't/shouldn't pay tax up front, save for a pension when you could be enjoying the money today, then pay tax again on income in the future.

Agree and don't see why there's no protected cycle lane on A25 Guildford > Dorking > Reigate. Busy commuter routes that would link well with A24 at Dorking

We're doing just that next April - five of us getting ferry to Dunkirk, cycle to de Panne, train to Ghent, then to Middleburg, Rotterdam and Amsterdam by bike, train back to de Panne. Looking forward to it a lot
