That said I could care less about people's opinions on what the retcons are doing. I'm enjoying the ride, every moment of it.

I think the Wifey is hooked on SOULCALIBUR.
I shall try to get her to play the other games with me (4's 360 version doesn't work yet for me).
Also looking into getting her a fight stick cause pad seems to be uncomfortable for the thumb.

I think this game is the absolute pinnacle of hack and slash, as well as action.
It just is so damn good. I can't believe what Itagaki cooked up with the base 360 version. Like he directly injects a adrenaline shot into your heart and tells you "Now fight an army by yourself."
It's just so peak.
