Bobby Doerr had 3 hits 2 RBI & a HR as the 46 Sox exploded for 5 runs in the 3rd to beat the 20 Indians 7-1. Doerr drove in 10 and hit .361 to win MVP. Dave “Boo” Ferriss went the distance as Boston won 5 elimination games to claim the title in the Strat Summer Slam Double elimination tournament
