Same (if I actually had a Spotify). I consider my tastes to be mostly "rock," but that can be "golden oldies," 60s prog & psychedelic, 70s/80s metal, 80s new wave, 90s alternative, etc. I actually hear my boys most when my daughter is controlling the car audio.

I tend not to feel bad for them. It's inherently full of deadly risk, and that's the adrenaline hit they're going for. If people get their jollies from endangering their lives, a few will inevitably land on the wrong side of the odds.

It used to be extra-applicable when my daughter actually had a futon for a bed, and a cat that would hide under the blankets with her. And she is definitely NOT a morning person. 😂

My sister hosts, but I cook the turkey and gravy and pies, so for years now, I've cooked the turkey on Wednesday then taken it off the bone into a catering tray. No fancy presentation, but my family is unconventional enough to not care about that.

Beautiful pattern! I also agree with using it. These days, most china only holds sentimental value rather than monetary value, and what brings sentiment to the forefront of your mind better than using it?
