Wish I were so lucky. I changed jobs in 2021, at age 46. New employer required my college transcript. I found that due to a clerical error at the alma mater, I had technically never been awarded my degree. Nearly didn't get the new job as a result. No previous employer ever required it.

Downingtown is pretty nice and has been positioning more and more as a western outpost of the Main Line lately. What blows me away is that Columbia, far less prosperous or urbane, came within 70-80 votes (out of ~2200 cast) of also electing an openly trans mayor yesterday

My freshman year of college (1992-93) was an interesting time for my bookshelf CD player as I had Tribe in heavy rotation alongside Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains.

The ability to walk to most of the places I want to go. Can't quite do 100% of my living on foot, but in Lancaster PA I have managed to only drive about 2500 miles so far this year
