Thanks, we live in Liverpool and it's freezing cold at the moment. I feel a bit more confident it will survive after hearing how tough they are.

Thanks, I might try to repot it, otherwise I think we will lose it and we have had it for fourteen years, it's like part of the family.

My aloe has become top heavy and desperately needs a much bigger pot. It's also started to grow a flower early this year, so don't know whether to leave it till after it flowers, or risk losing the flower stem and repot. Any advice would be appreciated.

I find your posts very interesting and informative. I am not looking to gain followers. I've flown from X to bluesky and find the different topics on here are a breath of fresh air.
