We also had ours , we had to send documents in advance but admittedly they didn’t really stick to those areas when they started . I suppose it may vary with assessor. Keeps us on our toes from a quality perspective, so I suppose it’s a good thing

Maybe it’s a change with the new standards where you being inspected under 2012 or 2022 ?

Why did you not know in advance ? They normally give some idea .
