I just broke the live chat in a popular YouTube channel by saying the fact the host didn’t know where England was scared me. Then some participants rose to his defense.. Anyone else find that odd?

When writing a function that returns a value, I like to set a default return value up front. Then all I have to concentrate on is cases that return something other than the default.
For example:
def bigten(x):
ret = False
if x > 10:
ret = True
return ret
#python
For example:

ret = True
return ret
