I hear you. I am a newly minted US citizen, I work with people with disabilities who were already afraid and now I'm afraid they're going to cut funding so we are not allowed to continue the work we do to enable people to live their lives freely and for me to live.

ABA is only the gold standard because they basically cock blocked other neuro affirming therapies. So the insurance companies don't cover them either. They want to push medication instead of positive therapy to help children and adults thrive and learn how to navigate our neurodiversity.
