If one is making an AI product, surely they will say things like "All code will be written in AI in six months" or "The AGI is almost ready" etc. to sell it. They want you to use their product every single day. A software engineer perceive this as an existential threat is crazy ridiculous.

It's becoming more and more likely to see in the future that nations will have their own one giant computer "in collaboration" with one of their own tech companies, to process, rule and thrive in the age of AI. And how many giant super computers? Maybe 3? 4?
