Watching the PM'S 11 play against some sort of English side via the CA app. Terrific initiative to broadcast these games. Commentators sound like they're watching on the screen rather than at the ground though. Would rather just have ambient sound.

PM'S 11 0/57 (Kellaway 32 Konstas 24)

Lazy Saturday night watching empty calorie TV while paying more attention to the sound of rain on the roof.

Such a lovely and relaxing sound when it's a change to the regular program.

Wow that was a very poor shot by Inglis. Bowled for 28 and WA now 7-223 chasing 272 to beat Qld

I do not like the orange lump
So please do stop the stuff on Trump.

Politics US for me's a snore
A topic so sure to be a bore
Posts on and on, again & more
Just make me angry, & my head sore

Don't be a flop, please stop this slop

All I really want is someone to talk to about the happenings in the Sheffield Shield competition.

Test Squad announced. Only one selection that puzzles me. Also has me wondering what a true second 11 would look like if picked based on performances from the start of the shield season and how they'd go against the 1s.

Had a lovely weekend. 2 big walks and some swimming (i might be a little sun touched). Had a good heart to heart with my youngest daughter and saw a positive response the next day. Saturday was a family movie night which was well received. Now for a spot of chinese food and a good nights sleep.

Oliver Peake the first wicket to fall on day 3 with Vic now 4/185.

Handscomb again the main bulwark for Victoria.

Harper in at 6 and facing Wes Agar who took the wicket of Peake.

South Australia went to lunch at 2/58 with Sangha and Hunt at the crease in their opening match against Victoria.

Mitch Perry has both wickets and the ball in hand to start the second session.

So, she'll go no more a roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart be still as loving,
And the moon be still as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath
And the soul wears out the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
And love itself have rest.

Bye to poor old Snow.

Pool acid topped up. Salt and magnesium added. Pool cover replacement installed. All ready for my kids to not swim much at all this summer.

The opinions you see on the internet are not always representative of significant slices of society. Sometimes it is just a few people yelling often and giving the impression that they are legion.

My kids can't hear their name being called from the next room but can hear a packet of tim tams being opened at the other end of the house.

Freo already with a deadset throw. It's way too common in the modern game.

Saw a snake while I was out walking the dog this morning. It was only a matter of metres from us. Thankfully it took off as we approached otherwise I'd have probably stepped on it.

Shan't be taking that path again any time soon.

I know I'm old fashioned in terms of footy but I really struggle to understand why players don't always tackle an opponent within reach when they have the chance. Watching them dance around in front of a guy while he then takes a few steps and kicks the ball under no duress frustrates me.

Geelong played like this against Richmond. Looked awesome with the ball in hand and seemed to have free players everywhere. Tonight however they've so far failed to take full advantage and their opposition have been better at pouncing on any Cat errors.
