The migraine is gone but the aura, and the horrors, persist. Just letting myself cry today cuz holding it in will probably make everything worse. Debating just checking out mentally until the weekend. Too sick. Too many memories. And I know at this point, tomorrow will just be worse

Bilateral Thyroid cancer, metastasized to her lymph nodes, lungs, and there are tumors in her blood vessels. Treatment would give us more time yes, but there’s no saying how much more and it would only make her suffer.
Optimistically we have a few good weeks.
I’m fucking devastated right now.

No results from the lab yet. I know it’s not my vets fault but… I hate waiting. I just want to know what’s wrong with my sweet girl. We’re a week into heave antibiotics and steroids and her lump (that I’ve named Gertrude) is still very much present

Got her harness, which is helping at least a little with the neck pain. Her right lymph node is extremely swollen still, which is worrying. She also seems very confused a lot, but I’m hoping that’s exhaustion and not something worse. Otherwise it’s a very snoozy day. The whole house is tired
