The latter stages appear good
Very strange comparison to make. A vote was carried out after all. I didn't like the result but it wasn't exactly full of ballot box stuffing.

Sorry mate. Attached that to the wrong person 😂😁

But he did and comfortably.

Independent of the next 3 results it was probably the right decision. Not sure we can say retroactively that it was right or wrong - Arne certainly doesn’t get that luxury. Painful to watch but hopefully works out in the long run .

Good report apart from the insinuation around Slot. Nothing deserves to happen and as you LFC don’t work like that and nor should they.

Lovely article Max. Thank you.

Please post more in here! Last one was 23 days ago 😢

The total quoted includes funding from a now closed service. The headlines in the Guardian are so click bait of late. See today’s stories on MPs earning income from renting homes out. MPs from all sides - headline suggests it’s Labour ministers. 🙄

Hi Grace, apologies for the, but not sure why it’s insane. We want a world class forward - he is one of few - we are 2 forward players short.
Trent wanted Madrid imo not just for the money. They are top of the tree for most players.
Richard Hughes has a very good track record. 1 swallow etc.

Of course Labour should speak out on Israel as should all decent politicians. All pensioners - really? It’s arguable that the triple lock is taking money from more needy people. Poor pensioners should be protected. The two child limit needs lifting. Other than posting on here what’s your plan?

Mike Graham - really - waste of argument!
July 12, 2025 at 4:47 AM
Interesting headline. In the body of the article it says she resigned 2 months ago. But that doesn't grab attention. Guardian is “my” paper - however its MO is a non stop criticism of Labour at the moment. They deserve criticism but are also quietly trying to do better things - New Sure Start is 1

When you say reinvest - where exactly? If the Docs get pay equalised to 2008 - how about porters, nurses, med secs, rads and physics. Are people willing to pay for that? Then the estate. You don't put that all right in 12 months.

But we have just won the League. We would be swapping a lad (I wouldn't sell him) who lost his place and his confidence to a proven starter at Palace. Trent was not especially good in the air. Put Gakpo, Diaz and Jones back in and we are bigger.

Well that just isn't true. Not a great fan of Starmer but I would take him all day over the Grifter. As has been stated, Labour have been talking about this for a while. Reform don't really do policy they look for opportunities that they think will get them votes. They have no concrete plan.

There is no easy answer unfortunately. Democracies can move dreadfully slowly at times. Especially a collection if different countries with different issues.

Arguably should not be used!

You read way too much into a comment on social media.
Of course government has choice. It’s a matter of opinion as to whether their choices are good or bad.
You talk about shaming - have a look at your own comments. Nobody I know would ever regard me as authoritarian ! Far from it.

Please. Currently it’s not bad on here. But more importantly, look after yourself.

Hi, excuse my lack of understanding here. Is this aimed at me or George? Nobody is shaming anyone here. These are just expressions of a personal opinion. For the record I wouldn’t touch a tabloid and come from a massively ordinary background.
November 30, 2024 at 7:55 AM
George you know as well as anyone that it just isn’t that easy. They have been in post a number of months after 14 years of Tory control. Where does the money come from? As someone who has spent my professional life in public service i would love to see investment. But how?
