There are scant few #MuseumBums at Sambourne House, but we spied this little terracotta chappy on the drawing room mantelpiece, with a bonus peach on the wallpaper to boot! 😁👍🏛️🍑

A plaster cast of Michelangelo's "David" was given to Queen Victoria in 1856 by The Grand Duke of Tuscany, Leopold II. Flustered by David having all his bits out, she promptly regifted it to the V&A and got him a figleaf made to cover up! 😱
