I had a pair of B2s made up for me and use three pairs of NATO woven puttees stitched together. Far, far better than any repro puttees. I avoid using original kit where I can.

These were glove inserts. Not really reliable, especially at 20,000ft in an open cockpit!

We have four different buildings that are the sole surviving examples of their type in the world. All straight out of the Royal Engineers Constructions, European Theatre, 1913-1919. Plus we have 19 other buildings!

Good to know! We are a #museum first, all about the collections, before we are an airfield. That doesn't mean we're not Wing-mad, though! We have some of the rarest aircraft in the world...
