Trump in 2020: We have to go by the laws. We can't move in the National Guard. I can call insurrection but there's no reason to ever do that, even in a Portland case. We can't call in the National Guard unless we're requested by a governor.

When people are suffering they need compassion, help, and support. That is what true leadership offers. After the help is given and the tragedy is not as catastrophic then analysis can begin. Criticism in the middle of suffering is NOT leadership. Thank you Biden for true leadership! #potus

I am in awe of the help LA is receiving from Mexico and Canada. They are helping in spite of the insults hurled at them by the incoming person to the WH. Thank you to them and all first responders! True heroes! Prayers for all of them and those suffering #lafires #firefighters

Growing up I was influenced in my political views by:
1. My dad who was an Utah LDS Democrat who was a CPA. My dad also grew up on a farm and typically did the morning milking at my grandparents farm before getting cleaned up and going to his office. My dad believed in Jimmy Carter, as a good man.
