David Kelley, former California State Senator and Cal Poly student, died Sept. 24. He was 96 years old. Kelley served several counties in the Inland Empire, most known for his work on water policy before retirement in 2001.

Five pro-Palestinian protestors stormed Cal Poly’s Financial Aid and Student Accounts office this afternoon, spray-painting graffiti on walls, furniture and computers, according to a campuswide email from President Jeffrey Armstrong. There were no physical injuries.
