And I’m done with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle!
First game played on my RX 9070 XT, extremely smooth in ultra with ray tracing on for 2/3 of the game and then FPS plummeted for the last part. RT off and again 100+ FPS.
Fantastic adventure and that’s what the two last movies should have been!

This week I received my NeoSD Pro from TerraOnion. I bought this 2nd hand to ensure that it wasn't from the recent batch that had a new FPGA and that apparently has quite a few problems.
When i first inserted it in my Neo Geo, I got a white screen. Cleaned the cart, white screen. Cleaned the slot...

Dilemma: I got this nice laser replacement PCB for my #Amiga tank mouse, but it requires to cut the screw post in order to fit. Yes or no to destructive mods? 🤔

No wonder my wireless Tank Mouse wasn’t working well… One of the wires hadn’t been soldered.
It was an easy fix, but makes me wonder about quality control 🤔

Malgré les reviews mitigées, j’ai craqué pour la plongée dans l’univers #StarWars. Pour l’instant, c’est conforme à ce que j’ai pu lire: un jeu pas mal, qui n’apporte pas grand chose de nouveau, mais qui offre du bon fan service.

It's finally being released today! I backed this documentary project in 2020 and since then so much has happened in the #Tetris community... RIP Jonas, new records that were never thought of before, new champions and so much more.

Aujourd’hui, modification de mon OSSC 1.6 pour le rendre compatible avec les firmwares 1.xx. L’avantage principal c’est l’accès au 1440p et les shadow masks.
Pas super simple, parce qu’il faut souder sur des SMDs minuscules, mais c’est passé! #retrogaming

Du progrès dans mes essais de retrobrighting avec une lampe UV. J’ai rajouté du peroxyde d’hydrogène pendant une dizaine d’heures et ça a finalement marché.

Je teste la technique de retrobright que Cousin Hubert Retrogaming a testé dans une de ses vidéos avec succès. C’est tout simple, une lampe UV 100w dans une boîte. J’en suis à 12h d’exposition et le résultat est… Décevant! 🥲Avant/après, pour moi il n’y a aucune différence 🤷♂️

Je découvre Red Viper, l’émulateur Virtual Boy pour 3DS, qui prend tout son sens sur cette plateforme. Quel bonheur de pouvoir les jeux Virtual Boy tels qu’ils ont été pensés. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ce n’est pas Nintendo qui l’a sorti, ça semblait si évident 🤔

Prices are insane for the Play it Loud series. Saw this at Super Potato Osaka last summer (about $160).
They really have nothing special and to be honest I prefer the OG Game Boy grey color which is the iconic one.

C’est parti pour Yakuza 8 (je n’arrive pas à me faire au changement de nom)! J’ai fait les 2 premières heures: l’histoire toujours au top, c’est très (presque trop) bavard, comme beaucoup de RPGs japonais, mais qu’est-ce que c’est bon de se replonger dans l’univers d’Ichiban Kasuga!
