you have to be able to deal with a little Nerd Shit (e.g. menuing can be annoying in some apps because of the refresh rate (configurable per app)), but i used it to read manga fine, the battery performance fucks, backlight looks good, it read books fine too

you gotta be a little nerdy about it but i highly recommend getting a Meebook (mine's M17) or similar off Aliexpress
they're little android tablets made for epaper and that's it
throw (MANGA PIRACY APP) or KoReader on it and you're set
pretty cheap too

it's 2.5dish but there is a Fantastic game i found called Friendshapes and its lack of popularity saddens me
it's a JRPG style thing but none of the combat actions are actually actions so it's a lot of experimenting and seeing what enemies respond to what, the soundtrack is really well done too
