If there's one (of many) thing that I took away from my time in the SF Tech Scene is that FAR too many in Tech (from top to bottom) fall for the myopic hype and propaganda of "Tech will Change the World," and how self serving the enthusiasm is.

I miss Alan RIckman not just as the amazing actor he was on screen but the kind person who was off it.
