Another option I had in mind is to go through my collection again, and pick one interesting record (not the most obvious one, but something good) from each shelf and write a bit more about it.

Let's see... 7/7

Now the question is "what next?"

First of all, I'm going to have a small break, listening just according to my mood. After that I have a couple of options:

I could go to the 7" singles, which are nowhere as well organised, but they can be a bit inconvenient while working. 6/7

Overall it was a very fun experience. I think I managed to justify all those records to myself and to my family: See, I still enjoy all of them (and can even fit a few more ;). Also noticed that I miss many classics and good records! 5/7

I don't see myself as a record collector, but a music collector that prefers the vinyl format.

While I've paid silly prices for original pressings, it was always because I NEEDED to have that record (for the music), and no reissues were available. 4/7

I also found some albums that I hadn't listened to even once, some of which were still in shrink wrap.

This was something that was part of the motivation to start this project. How to justify myself buying all this music? 3/7

I was mostly listening during the weekdays, in the background while working. Some days were busy with meetings and I could go through only one album, while other days I could go through six or seven. 2/7

Only two more items remaining in my LP/12" collection. Both box sets of classical music. The first one is Oistrakh with Bach and Mozart sonatas. 2/2

This feels to me a more dramatic interpretation than the Anja Ignatius one. I think that the recording is technically great for its age, even if the violin is mixed VERY upfront. A full broadside of Oistrakh's virtuosity. 3/3

I never was a big fan of the violin, until I heard Oistrakh. I still can't claim that I understand classical violin at all, but something in Oistrakh's playing just touches me deeply. 2/3
