For D I could think of Diablo or Disgaea but tbh there aren't many games that I could play infinitely without wanting to switch things up.

Y - Yakuza Kiwami
While I did play my fair share of beatemups never in this 3D ‘open world’ style. This series is definitely one I really enjoy now.

S - SimCity (SNES)
When I bought the SNES in it's first year there weren't many titles yet. But I picked it up just to have something to play on it (next to SMW). I also never played any type of simulation game before. Turned out it was my most played game on the console.

Finally, after a week of more grinding I beat the final boss in Dragon Quest 3. That typical SqEnix endgame grind is quite exhausting. But I did it. That game was long but so awesome. 🤩 This is in my top 10 of all-time favourites.

N - NBA Jam
At one of my jobs in the 90s there was an arcade cabinet of NBA Jam for our customers. But me and my coworkers also played it whenever there was a moment. I am not into sports/games but this game was epic fun. 🤩

I - Inscryption
While in essence a cardgame it turned out to be so much more. Safe to say virtual card games are not my favourite genre but this one got so much positive attention I had to try it. I will not say more, if you haven’t played Inscryption go play it now. 🏆

A bit of a trick to put her name first as a title but it's what I called it. I didn't know what to expect from an educational game but it turned out I had a great time with it. You can play this in a webbrowser nowadays.

Getting close to the end of Dragon Quest 3. This HD remake is awesome. If you're going to play one of the series this one is a recommendation. If found myself making extra characters to level up just to extend the time even more. And it's not short. 40 hours at least, but I'm already close to 50 😂

I did watch the original Tactics Ogre (snes) played by Retro Island Gaming on Twitch. But so far haven't played it myself. It's in my backlog and did buy the remake on Switch. I'll definitely play it in near the future.
