Doing last minute writing for the next session. Finally had some luck with AI generating an image from one of my descriptions. This is a gate to a mine that gets uncovered by sand dunes moving throughout the year. I'll have to make some maps in the morning but at this point I need sleep #DnD

Tonight's session went surprisingly well as I completely forgot to write more of the campaign I'm running. The players saved me unknowingly by making more than half this session a bar night. Drinking challenges, bets, arm wrestling, ect. They even apologized for "derailing" the night... #DnD

I'm coming up with a side quest for my low level 5e group based in a desert around an oasis and I'm thinking about having some whispering coming from the sands at night hypnotizing people to walk into the desert. I need some enemies to be responsible for the missing people. Any suggestions?

Sent my players to go help local nomads with bandit issues instead of main story stuff. They killed 8 in less than 4 rounds. The craziest was when the Dwarf Barbarian decided to THROW his club from 40ft away, hit a running bandit, and JUST BARELY killed it...

#dnd #ttrpg I can't decide if my players should deal with an ambush or learn more lore about some locals. The ambush is related to the main story, the lore is side quest stuff. They've been enjoying both so far through our sessions so I'm not sure what to run first.
