I wonder if this was modeled after a real place or if it was constructed entirely in the mind of the artist. It would take a powerful mind to completely imagine such a rich image. #ConArtInSitu

The work feels sensual yet completely depersonalized at the same time. The facelessness of the figure greatly contributes to both feelings. Also, the darkness surrounding the figure creates to a malicious tone, in my opinion. #ConArtInSitu

I agree! The atmosphere was very immersive, and the attention to detail impressed me as well. One of my favorites from the seniors. #ConArtInSitu

It felt like I was stepping into someone else's past, and it felt very personal. I'm curious if they designed the game with that in mind, or if that was just how they wanted to curate the environment. #ConArtInSitu

My favorite thing about this exhibit was the atmosphere around the game. The artist carefully crafted a bedroom around the pc, adding a nostalgic element to the game. #ConArtInSitu

The red blood strongly contrasts the hollow grays of the piece as well, intensifying the gore, in my opinion. #ConArtInSitu

The blood splatter is especially effective for this piece. It adds a palpable wetness on top of the dry paint, which is impressive and precise craftsmanship by the artist. #ConArtInSitu

The textures also add a lot of detail and enhanc the 3D effect. Again, it makes the painting feel more lively. #ConArtInSitu

I agree. To what extent was it necessary to (debatably) waste real money purchasing the gold? How difficult would it be to use a substitute? Maybe it was really that important for the toilet to be made of real wealth, as that's what upper-classholes want. #ConArtInSitu

By this I mean that there are some moments I have a deeper recollection of because I did not move my attention to my phone and to capturing the moment. Sometimes letting the moment roam freely in front of you is the best way to solidify it in your natural memory. #ConArtInSitu

There is also something to be said about our desire to capture pretty things. Was it made to be photographed? Or do we photograph it because it was made? Can both be true? #ConArtInSitu

It feels like a throne, and it makes you feel important when you are in it. I imagine this contributed to my desire to be photographed. #ConArtInSitu

I think it gratifies it in some regard, and it offers a physical piece of memory, but I think that comes somewhat at the sacrifice of the present moment, now the past one, when I sat down on the stone. #ConArtInSitu

I also wonder how the reception of this differs now, in a time where we all carry cameras with us, versus the time when viewers would sit just to sit. The first thing that came to my mind was to take a picture when I saw this piece, and I wonder how that affects the experience. #ConArtInSitu

I can't help but wonder how they moved the stone inside and the tree along with it. The sculpture was so large that my camera couldn't capture it! #ConArtInSitu

Some of the images almost looks like a computer rendered them, they feel so realistic. The fruit seems like you could walk up and pop it off of a branch, while the flowers seems to be reaching for you. #ConArtInSitu

It had a very immersive effect on me. I believe some of the painting is intended to come off as 3D, and it worked wonders! I found myself hearing the chittering of birds and the rustle of vines as I became absorbed. #ConArtInSitu
