Battlefield 3 at launch was like $20 in Russia — third of the price in US.

Now 99% of this big games are full price in every country: moreover in countries like Brazil they can cost way more than in US or Europe, which is nuts.

Also many big companies ignore the importance of regional pricing. You make an example with Mewgenics with $27 price point.

But it many countries it’s also way less:
Russia — $13
Turkey — $13,5
China — $14.

And this was a norm many years ago, but now this regional prices are mostly indie and AA.

I mean only Forza here is wild: other “Microsoft” games are from Activision or Bethesda, and all of them were on PlayStation ten years ago.
